Autumn Break

As we finish Term 1, don’t forget to renew your Library items over the vacation period. All loans will continue as usual over the vacation, so if an item is due during the vacation period, it is your responsibility to renew it by the due date. Don’t risk a fine of ten dollar per item by not renewing your items on time.

Vacation Hours (Tuesday 14 April – Friday 24 April)
Daily 9.30am-3.30pm*

The Library will be closed on Friday 10 April and Monday 13 April for the Public Holidays.

Go 3D with DVD’s on Ohm’s law, electricity and electronics.




Miller along with other TAFE libraries have recently acquired a comprehensive series of recently produced (2007) animated 3D DVDs, dealing with different aspects of electricity and electronics from Video Education Australasia.

Online DVD previews and detailed descriptions are readily available from
VEA for individual titles via the web site quick search option. There are also teaching notes available for download.

Courage to Care Exhibition 9 March - 6 April 2009




Courage to Care is directed towards students and comprises an exhibition and an associated education program. The stories of non-Jews who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust are the starting point for the program, which relates these historic events to issues facing today’s students, such as bullying, racism and stereotyping. It demonstrates the power of each individual to make a difference.
